The management of young women with breast cancer in Switzerland: a snapshot

The specific aims of this multicentric study are:

1. to evaluate whether breast units and breast cancer care providers in Switzerland follow international recommendations and guidelines for the management of women <40 years of age at diagnosis of the cancer and the reasons for any under- or overtreatment due to young age
2. to evaluate the presence of treatment and outcome differences within and between the two linguistic regions and identify determinants of such differences
